Motion 01.02 carried to Robin Read Consulting to <br />create plans for the Human Services Committees. <br />FPHS Resolution and Support from county Lobbyist Request for Approval <br />Chelsey Loeffers presented a Resolution to urge the Washington State Legislature to maintain funding <br />for Foundational Public Health Services (FPHS) and direct staff to provide the Kittitas County lobbyist <br />with additional information to support advocacy for FPHS funding during the legislative session. Ms. <br />Loeffers reviewed a summary of the funding and the importance of maintaining these funds. The <br />resolution will be presented to Kittitas County lobbyists. <br />01.03: Motion to approve Resolution 20216-014 to urge Washington State Legislature to maintain <br />funding for Foundational Public Health Services. Motion 01.03 carried. <br /> <br />HopeSource Teanaway Project Amendment Discussion/Decision <br />Chelsey Loeffers reviewed proposed Teanaway project amendments and asked for approval or denial of <br />amendments to proceed with contracting. The board discussed amendments and then approved: <br />• Reduction of units from 50 to 41 <br />• AMI increase from 30-50% to 60% <br />• 20 of the 41 units added to homeless stock <br /> <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department continues to work with HopeSource and contractor for <br />clarification of items. The group also confirmed the meeting with HopeSource is still being scheduled to <br />discuss invoicing. <br /> Ms. Loeffers noted that there will need to be more time with Homelessness and Affordable Housing <br />contracts before entering into them due to the complexity of the details. The department would like to <br />make sure that the county is clear on contract language and obtain additional information if needed. <br />Health Officer Update <br />Dr. Mark Larson was not at the meeting, but Chelsey Loeffers updated the following about measles in <br />Kittitas County: <br />• January 30th and 31st are the quarantine end dates <br />• Staff continue to do symptom checks for individuals who were exposed and not vaccinated
