02/17/2026 MINUTES 2 <br />Description provided for the Solid Waste Director. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />Patti Stacey, Facilities Director, stated that it was HR Director <br />Killgore’s recommendation to tie the Job Description to pay range <br />29. She stated they would like to post it internally to start with <br />and see what comes of that. The Board agreed and stated that they <br />would be part of the interview panel. <br /> UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board determined that for the week of February 17, 2026, they <br />would post the following on their Facebook page: Easton Meeting <br />regarding Flooding and Emergency Preparedness at 6:00 p.m., in the <br />multi-purpose room at the Easton School; Notice about the Solid <br />Waste Office/Services relocation timeline and upcoming changes. <br /> UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2026 <br />were determined during a Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting and they will continue to provide updates at future <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES – There were general updates on <br />meetings & conversations that the Board participated in, <br />individually, over the past week. <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board announced that Marc Eylar (County <br />Noxious Weed Office) was awarded CWAC Coach of the year. <br /> <br />Chairman Wright provided an update on the Cle Elum Ridge and the <br />obstacles they are working through. <br />Meeting concluded at 9:30 a.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />
