KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA SESSION DATE: February 17, 2026 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Notice of Call for Sealed Bids for <br />the 2026 Annual Striping Program. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works solicits yearly for roadway <br />striping. <br />The project includes applying roadway striping on all <br />County roadways. Roadways not receiving chip seal are <br />striped during May and June, while chip sealed <br />roadways are striped in August. This solicitation also <br />includes work to be performed for the Cities of <br />Ellensburg, South Cle Elum, and Kittitas. <br />Our estimate for the 2026 work is between $417,000.00 <br />— $461,000.00. <br />Bids are scheduled to be received on March 5, 2026, at <br />1 Oam at the Public Works office. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Notice of Call for Sealed Bids and <br />Advertise as requested for the 2026 Annual Striping <br />Program <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Call for Sealed Bids. <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Public Works Director <br />
