August 25th, 2025 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright, Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: IT Director Doug Fessler; Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney; <br />Infrastructure Manager Bill Davis; Admin Assistant Grant Shimada <br /> <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING IT STUDY SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 11:00 a.m. Chairman Laura Osiadacz opened the Information Technology <br />Study Session. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were no citizen comments. <br /> <br />Request County Logo Project IT <br /> <br />At the request of the Board, Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney <br />presented his findings of all the WA County logos illustrating <br />different types of design choices and visual characteristics. Mr. <br />Kinney proposed continuing to use the current logo but updating the <br />background with a version of his design to bring it up to modern <br />standards. The Board supports Zane’s proposal and requests for Mr. <br />Kinney to work on some options. Once designs have been approved by the <br />Board, they’ll be presented to the public for feedback. <br /> <br />Request Public Website Update IT <br /> <br />Mr. Kinney is scheduling a meeting between Diagram Inc., the web design <br />co., and County departments to begin the webpage design and function <br />kickoff meeting. A date has not been set yet, but Mr. Kinney highly <br />encourages 1 of the Board members to attend. Commissioner Wachsmith <br />volunteered to attend. <br /> <br />Mr. Kinney submitted his draft of the project’s mission, vision, and <br />goals that voices our end goals. The Board supports Mr. Kinney’s draft. <br /> <br />MEETING CONCLUSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 11:17 a.m., Chairman Osiadacz concluded the Information Technology <br />Study Session. <br />
