service to all defendants referred herein in accordance with the terms of this Agreement untilrepresentation of such defendant is complete, as provided in paragraph I of this Agreement.This Agreement shall apply to all referrals *ude through Decembe r 31,2026,unless the contractis terminated earlier, in which case the contract shalr aipry to arr referrars made untir 5:00 p.m.on the date of termination ofthe contract. <br />l0' caseload standards' The caseload limits set forth in this agreement include a case weightingsystem for establishing caseloads, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated byreference' over the course of any 3 1-day period the contracting Attorney (and any associated oremployed counsel) shall not handle a caseload of more than r 0 cases as weighted, or an averagenumber of l0 per month' DWLS3 cases and Probation Violation cases count as one half of acase. <br />11' compensation for Assigned cases. The contracting Aftorney shall be paid as follows: Thesum of seventy-four thousand eight hundred dollars 1$z+,soo; for eleven months, paid in equalmonthly installments on the second Monday of the month. <br />' Bench Trial: Shall be paid anadditional $200 per diem for bench triar. The contracting Attomeyshall provide invoices to the Kittitas county Department of public Defense for ail trial per diempay. Those invoices wiil be provided within 30 days of the rast day of triar.r Jury Trial: Shall be paid an additional $ 400 perdiern for jury triar. The contracting Attomeyshall provide invoices to the Kittitas counfy Department orpuuti. Defense for all trial per diempay. Those invoices wiil be provided within 30 days of the rast day of triar. <br />Attorney billing statements for assigned cases shall include the defendant,s name, all charges,and affiliated case number(s) that were assigned by the court for the defendant. <br />12' compensation for Arraignment and First Appearance calendars. The contracting Attorneyor any associate or emproyed attorney shail be paid $350.00 for each Monday momingarraignment calendar at 9:00 a'm. Attorney billing statements for Arraignment will include thedate and docket time of the attorney's appearance in court arong with the monetary billingamount associated with that docket. <br />13. Policy as it refers to appointments: <br />a After court hearings with disposition (with the exception of sops,/Dps) the court willautomatically withdraw the attorney from the case upon the filing of a notice of appeal or 30days after the final (appealable) decision of the court, as the case may be. Attorney does notneed to sign a withdrawal. <br />on soP/DPs- cAA may submit a motion to withdraw from the matter. If cAA withdraws fromthe case and the case is subsequently set for a probation review hearing, attorney include re-appointment as a new case. <br />a
