NEIGHBORHOOD ANALYSIS <br /> The subject is located on the southwest corner of the city of Ellensburg just one block west of <br /> S. Main Street which is the primary north/south thoroughfare through the city of Ellensburg. <br /> Industrial Way is separated from the main part of the city by a railroad track to the east. <br /> The surrounding land use is primarily industrial use. The adjacent property on the north and west <br /> sides of the subject is a salvage yard. <br /> The land use diagonally across the street to the northeast is a propane distribution outlet. <br /> The land use diagonally across Industrial Way to the southeast is a vacant property which runs <br /> along the railroad track. <br /> The property behind the subject to the west is a transfer station. <br /> The property south of the subject is Ellensburg Animal Shelter followed by a truck rental <br /> company and then the Community Corrections Department Office. <br /> Industrial Way dead ends to the north of the subject with a recycle center and city shops. <br /> The primary land use on both sides of Industrial Way to the south of the subject is self-storage <br /> units.
