BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS (BOCC) <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2025-2030 LOCAL HOMELESS HOUSING <br />PLAN FOR KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-____ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County has obligations under RCW 43.185C.160 and RCW <br />43.185C.050 to create a homeless housing task force (Kittitas County <br />Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee) to develop a five-year <br />homeless housing plan <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 16, the Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable Housing <br />Committee formally recommended the adoption of the 2025-2030 plan <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the plan includes the state required plan objectives, collaborative planning <br />process, and measures of success; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the plan has key priorities including expanding supply of affordable <br />housing, strengthening partnerships across sectors, improving access to <br />behavior health services, enhancing prevention, diversion and outreach <br />efforts, and building community awareness and foster public support; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the BOCC received public comments on the plan on December 16, 2025; <br />and <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Board of County Commissioners, <br />hereby adopts the 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Kittitas County as <br />presented. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2026. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Chair <br /> <br /> _________________________________ <br />ATTEST: Brett Wacshmith, Vice-Chairman
