BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - AI1 <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISII SNOW & ICE CONTROL PRODUCTS FOR 2026 <br />AND AUTHORIZETHE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT <br />DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Snow and Ice Control Products for <br />2026 on October 9,2025, and October 16,2025; and <br />WIIEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on October 23,2025, at2:00 p.m. in the office of <br />Kittitas County Public Works and four (a) bids were received and deemed <br />responsive; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of <br />EnviroTech Services, LLC for Item #1 Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Magnesium <br />Chloride and for Item #3 Soil StabilizerlMagnesium Chloride; and the responsible <br />bid of Pioneer Commodities and Bob Rankin LLC for Item #2 Non-Corrosion <br />Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride be accepted for Snow & Ice Control Products for <br />2026; and <br />NOW, TIIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2026 Snow & Ice Control Products to <br />EnviroTech Services, LLC for Item #1 Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Magnesium Chloride and for <br />Item #3 Soil StabilizerlMagnesium Chloride; and the responsible bid of Pioneer Commodities <br />and Bob Rankin LLC for Item#2 Non-Corrosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride, upon such <br />terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s); and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 4th day of November 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COIINTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />-\tz\L <br />Coir <br />\!(l/I <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Wright, V <br />Commissioner
