Your project has <br />the potential to provide Klttitas County residents with multiple essential public safety and health <br />needs in one building. The needs analysis forthe Kittitas County Coroner's Office and Public <br />Health Department will provide feasibility and cost information that will allow the County to <br />prepare development funding for this project. To improve feasibility, the County is partnering with <br />Kittitas Valley Fire & Rescue and Kittitas County Airport. By developlng a facility at the Kittitas <br />Couniy Airport on County-owned land, the new safety and health facility development costs are <br />reduced and service is expanded through airfield adjacency. lnc uding fire facilities will improve <br />airport and community resiliency - this project is a win-win-win for Kittitas County. <br />A DEDICATED AND EXPERIENCED TEAM <br />MWA brings 37 years of experience serving the essential needs of the community through <br />innovative, thoughtful, and respectful design. We have completed health, fire, and aviation faciLi- <br />ties for agencies across the Pacific Northwest. Our portfolio includes projects with Yakima Air <br />Terminal-McAllister Field, Spokane lnternational Airport, and Portland Lnternational Airport, on <br />multiple projects, including needs analysis and feasibility studies, renovations, adaptive re-use, <br />tenant improvements, and new construction. Our fire and public health experience includes <br />Portland Fire and Rescue, llwaco Fire Department, and the City of Portland Emergency <br />Com munications Center. <br />BRINGING LONGSTANDING TEAMING RELATIONSHIPS TO YOUR PROJECT <br />MWA has longstanding relationships with our proposed teaming partners. DCI Engineers (struc- <br />tural and civil), FSi Engineers (mechanical), Landis Engineering (electrical), and Sound NW <br />Precon Services (construction cost estimating) are allcurrently working with MWA on aviation <br />and health projects. We are pleased to include proposed Subject Matter Expert, MWL MWL <br />has been at the forefront of forensic science, forensic pathology, and public safety planning and <br />design since its founding in'1995. MWL specializes in forensic science Iaboratories, forensic <br />pathology facilities, and police and public safety facilities. Each proposed team member brings <br />knowledge and experience in needs analysis and feasibility studies on airport properties. <br />When pursuing projects, MWA considers the overallworkload and availability of our team and <br />teaming partners. The individuals highlighted in our proposal are currently working in Central <br />Washington and are available to begin this project and will stay involved throughout.
