s "t <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />County of Kittitas <br />State of Washington <br />Proclamation <br />Veterans Day November LL, 2025 <br />WHEREAS, Veterans Day has been observed annually on November l lth since 1954 to <br />honor the brave individuals who have served in the United States Armed Forces: and <br />WHEREAS, the theme for Veterans Day 2025 is "Service to Our Nation," a recognition <br />of the unwavering courage, dedication, and patriotism of all who have worn our nation's <br />uniform. The theme is chosen by the Veterans Day National Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, the commitment of our veterans, past and present, has safeguarded the <br />freedoms and democratic ideals cherished by all Americans; and <br />WHEREAS, we owe our veterans and their families, caregivers, and survivors a <br />profound and eternal debt of gratitude for their immense sacrifices; and <br />WHEREAS, it is fitting to set aside a special day to express our nation's sincere thanks <br />to those who served selflessly to protect our way of life. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners proudly joins the <br />rest of our nation to salute and give special honor and recognition to the men and women <br />who served us in our armed forces. <br />Dated this 4th day of November 2025. <br />THE KITTITAS COLINTY <br />BO OF COMMISSIONERS
