This approach
enables the local jurisdiction to retain discretion over floodplain regulations while
allowing Property owners to decide whether to purchase flood insurance.
FISCAL IMPACTS.
Per the Interlocal Agreement,,, each entity will fund the completion of its respective
responsibilities. The budget needs for the County's responsibilities have been included in
the Flood Control Zone District's 2026 budget.
ATTACHMENTS:
Exhibit l: Resolution
Exhibit 2-9.
