A Quit Claim Deed was <br /> signed March 15, 2015, by both the Chamber and the County. The Quit Claim Deed <br /> (Exhibit 1) signed by the County includes a condition that the building is to be used for <br /> economic development or business enhancement otherwise the building would revert to <br /> Kittitas County. <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce has requested removing the use condition <br /> included on the Quit Claim Deed. Working with the Chamber and the County <br /> Prosecuting Attorney Office, a path forward is for the Chamber to reimburse the County <br /> for the funds used in the incubator purchase. The purchase price and fees total to <br /> $185,504.80 and were allocated from the Distressed Sales and Use Tax(Fund 108). <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> Purchase price of building would be returned to Fund 108 (Public Facilities) and made <br /> available for future projects. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> Exhibit 1: Quit Claim Deed for 214 North Pennsylvania Ave. <br />
