ilt. <br />Both parties will ensure that all requirements of the One Washington MOU <br />found in Exhibit A of this agreement and the Greater Columbia Opioid <br />Abatement Council MOU found in Exhibit B of this agreement specific to each <br />individual entity are met. <br />Both parties agree to support the funding priorities established by the <br />community-based input of the Community Health lmprovement Plan and One <br />Washington MOU Opioid Abatement Strategies Crosswalk Analysis, found in <br />Exhibit C of this agreement. <br />Both parties agree to fund the Kittitas County Public Health Department Harm <br />Reduction Program outside of the public request for proposals process in the <br />total amount of 5100,000 per year for five years beginning January L,2O25. fhe <br />City of Ellensburg will contribute 510,000 each year, and Kittitas County will <br />contribute 590,000 each year. The Harm Reduction program meets funding <br />priorities and is recognized by both parties as a critical prevention and response <br />support to residents of the City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County. <br />Both parties will coordinate the timely presentation of funding <br />recommendations to their respective legislative authorities for final approval. <br />No funds will be granted until approvalfrom both parties has been granted via <br />resolutions by the respective legislative authorities. lf a legislative authority <br />chooses to deny a funding recommendation, no joint funding will be provided to <br />that applicant. However, each party retains the right to provide separate <br />funding to applicants, outside of this Agreement. Both parties will work <br />collaboratively to share results and outcomes of funding awards publicly. <br />4. Points ofContact. Disbursement of Funds to Elisible Proiects. Projects selected for funding will contract directly <br />with Kittitas County. All invoiced expenses will be reviewed by Kittitas County for allowability, <br />and any expenses found to be unallowable will be denied. Allfunded projects will be required to <br />submit progress reports and updates on achievement of goals and deliverables.
