c. Upcoming Elections—Cameron Clasen <br /> Cameron mentioned elections will be addressed next month and shared he, <br /> Rich and I are willing to stay in our respective positions. <br /> 5. Standing Committee Reports <br /> a. Budget and Grants: Clay reported the BoCC approved the 2026 L&J Grant <br /> recommendations 11.19.2025. Next steps will be finalizing agreements and <br /> processing grant funds to awardees. <br /> b. Mental Health/Chemical Dependency: Pam shared all recommended <br /> applications that were approved by BoCC. She further shared that the 1/10th <br /> sales tax has a sunset clause for 2027, and they are working with past <br /> recipients to present at public meetings about how funds were used and <br /> supported the community. Presentations will begin on December 2, 2025, at <br /> 2:OOPM. Filling the 2 open board positions is in process. <br /> c. Public Relations: No report <br /> 6. Agency Updates and Current Issues <br /> a. CASA (Sandy Martinez): Preparing for fundraiser on December 5th. The <br /> event is sold out. <br /> b. Central Washington University— Law and Justice (Cody Stoddard): No <br /> report. <br /> c. Central Washington University Police Department (Andy Bayne): No <br /> report. <br /> d. Citizens at Large (Bill DeHaven and Pam Tuggle Myers): No reports. <br /> e. City of Ellensburg Attorney(Chris Horner): Shared contract between City <br /> and County for prosecution finalized and intent for transfer by January 1, <br /> 2026. <br /> f. Cie Elum Roslyn Police Department (Rich Albo): No report. <br /> g. Department of Corrections (Dulce Thompson): No report. <br /> h. Ellensburg City Council (Delano Palmer): No report. <br /> i. Ellensburg Police Department (Cameron Clasen): CHASE program <br /> underway. Three officers at the academy are set to graduate on December <br /> 101h and one opening and in process of filling. <br /> j. KITTCOM Director (Rich Elliott): Augmented licensing for Spillman users to <br /> access full suite of features and intent to provide training for basis users. <br /> Staffing continues to increase. <br /> k. Kittitas County Clerk's Office (Dennis Robinson): Full staffed and working <br /> on backlog. <br />
