12/01/2025 MINUTES 2 <br />Christopher West & Jodi Larsen to the Kittitas County 1 10th of 1% <br />Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory Board noting, Mr. <br />West would fill the vacancy of Member at Large – Lived Experience <br />and Ms. Larsen to fill the vacancy of Dist #2 Representative; noting <br />that Mr. West’s 2-year term starts immediately and will end <br />12/31/2026 (completing a former member’s term) and Ms. Larsen’s 2- <br />year term starts immediately and will end on 12/31/2027. Vice- <br />Chairman Wright seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of December 1, 2025, they <br />would post the following on their Facebook page: Search and Rescue <br />Avalanche Training; Cross Country State Champ Proclamation for <br />Waylon Stoneburg-Schafer Day; Press Release if the Mental Health Tax <br />Sunset Clause Public Hearing gets passed; and a Press Release for <br />the Adopted County Budget. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2025 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES – There were general updates on <br />meetings & conversations that the Board participated in, <br />individually, over the past week. <br /> <br />Meeting concluded at 9:15 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Vice-Chairman
