Representation on the YBFWRB Board of Directors is as follows, with bolded members <br /> also serving on the executive committee: Yakama Nation, Counties: Kittitas,Yakima, <br /> and Benton. Cities: Ellensburg, Roslyn, Yakima, Union Gap, Prosser and West <br /> Richland. <br /> The Board convenes five (5) times per year for a business meeting and one time per year <br /> for an annual meeting and tour. <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> Local recovery boards were created to ensure fish recovery efforts are shaped by local <br /> knowledge and to build community support for related projects. Board members help <br /> oversee the nonprofit's finances, guide outreach and advocacy at all levels of <br /> government, and approve the annual funding recommendations for Salmon Recovery <br /> Funding Board grants. <br /> FISCAL IMPACTS: <br /> Staff time associated with Public Works participation has been covered by the Flood <br /> Control Zone District levee funding.
