KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> Public Lands Advisory Committee <br /> AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> AGENDA DATE: November 19, 2025 <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: Request Approval of Revised Membership Term Expiration Years <br /> BACKGROUND: Due to vacancies and appointments of new members into existing <br /> terms, the Committee now has an unequal number of members <br /> reaching the end of their terms over the next three years. At present, <br /> term expirations are as follows: <br /> 2025 —Emily Smith, Steve Worley, Bridget Wood, Greg Parker, Fred <br /> Slyfield, two vacant positions <br /> 2026—Tom Morris, Gary Berndt <br /> 2027—Bill Essman, Marc Eylar, one vacant position <br /> The Chair has informed Mr. Worley that he will not be reappointed by <br /> the BOCC and thanks him for his work over these past many years; <br /> most especially for his contributions to the Yakima River Access <br /> Plan. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Recommend altering term expirations as follows to allow for equal <br /> numbers of member terms expiring annually: <br /> 2025 —No expiring terms <br /> 2026—Tom Morris, Gary Berndt, Bridget Wood, and Greg Parker <br /> 2027 Bill Essman, Marc Eylar, Emily Smith, and Fred Slyfield <br /> The three vacant positions and Mr. Worley's term to be filled are now <br /> moved to an expiration year of 2028 <br />
