Vice Chairman Essman offered to make contact. <br /> NEW BUSINESSS <br /> a. ) DISCUSSION UPDATE FROM JASON BOTH, WASHINGTON STATE <br /> PARKS <br /> Jason Both, SE Regional Manager, Washington State Parks <br /> introduced himself, and began discussion on upcoming and <br /> ongoing projects including the ongoing Gingko State Park <br /> Project. Chairman Cory Wright thanked him for attending. <br /> b. ) DISCUSSION: USFS SWAUK PROJECT COMMENT LETTER <br /> Bradley Gasawski, CDS Planner 1 began the presentation and <br /> provided a map for round table discussion. Board members <br /> voiced their areas of concern and commended the <br /> restoration efforts . Chairman Cory Wright thanked Bradley <br /> Gasawski for his work. <br /> c. ) DISCUSSION/DECISION: UPDATE FROM LARRY LEACH, DNR ON <br /> PLANNED DNR/WDFW GREEN DOT ROAD WORK <br /> Larry Leach provided the DNR update including green dot <br /> road work. He provided background information for a one <br /> time funding opportunity for which DNR would like support <br /> from Kittitas County. Jeff Burnham, WDWF joined Larry <br /> Leach, DNR to provide additional information for the Green <br /> Dot Road preliminary project proposal . Larry Leach, DNR <br /> noted that he is bringing this to PLAC 2-3 months early. <br /> Vice Chairman Essman suggested attending the next Field & <br /> Stream meeting as well . Discussion ensued to promote the <br /> following motion: <br /> Vice Chairman Essman made a motion that the Public Land <br /> Advisory Committee recommend that the Kittitas County <br /> Board of Commissioners draft a letter of support for the <br /> Planned DNR/WDFW Green Dot Road Work. Board Committee <br /> Member Fred Slyfield seconded the motion. Further <br /> discussion ensued regarding the poor condition of Colockum <br /> Road and Reecer Creek Road. Motion passed with all in <br /> favor. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 2025-10-15 MINUTES <br />
