We are surrounded by incredible environmental resources in <br /> terms of watershed, recreation, wildlife habitat, and wildfire buffers, but we're also obligated to care for them and <br /> access to them in partnership with an array of land managers, many of whom I work with closely now. I'd like to <br /> serve on this committee so that I can support decision makinq to address these struqqles and obligations. <br /> What boards,committees,or commissions have you previously served on? <br /> I have not served on a County board, committee, or commission, but I am part of the Teanaway Community <br /> Forest Advisory Committee (TCFAC), the East Cascades Recreation Partnership, the Checkerboard <br /> Partnership Planning Committee, the Land Managers Recreation Forum, and E3. I facilitate the outreach <br /> subcommittee of the TCFAC as well. <br /> Please list any training,skills,and/or experience you have that would be beneficial to serving on this board, <br /> committee,or commission. <br /> My current work in the Teanaway Community Forest involves community outreach and engagement to connect <br /> people with education about, stewardship opportunities in, and legislative advocacy for their public lands. It also <br /> involves working closely with an array of land managers and community organizations who do restoration and <br /> recreation work.
