Scope of Services. The KCPAO shall perform all necessary prosecution services for the CITY as <br />more particularly described and detailed in Attachment “A” incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />4. Points of Contact. Budget and Payment. The parties agree to a general cost sharing model where the City pays <br />100% of the cost of a legal assistant/victim witness position; and 85% of the cost of a deputy <br />prosecutor position; and 10% for administrative costs. From January 1, 2026, until December <br />31, 2026, the CITY shall pay the KCPAO for work performed under this Agreement: $22,012.67 <br />per month (as detailed in Attachment “B” incorporated herein by reference), payable twice a <br />year, in six month increments. The cost of all infrastructure, administrative support, <br />administrative fees, and services, as well as standard overhead services necessary to comply <br />with established standards, is included in this payment as detailed in Attachment “B.” <br /> <br />The parties agree to meet no later than July 1, 2026, to review the status of the Agreement and <br />to ensure the payment arrangement continues to provide KCPAO with fair and accurate <br />compensation for the cost and value of services provided. In January of 2027, the parties will <br />meet in good faith to negotiate and agree to the monthly payment for the rest of the term of <br />the Agreement. The Ellensburg City Manager and Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney, in or <br />around both July of 2026 and January of 2027, are authorized to agree, in writing, to minor <br />adjustments to the payment arrangement (not to exceed an aggregate total of $75,000.00 or <br />10% of the original payment amount), without further action of their respective legislative <br />authorities, and any such adjustments will become amendments to this Agreement. <br /> <br />6. Budget Adjustments for Renewal Terms. For each renewal term of this Agreement, the parties <br />agree to engage in good faith discussions to review and negotiate the budget and related costs,
