Kittitas County agrees to submit all reporting required by the regional Opioid
Abatement Council (OAC) showing how the City of Ellensburg's forwarded funds
have been expended on behalf of the City of Ellensburg. Kittitas County will
provide copies of the filed reports to the City of Ellensburg after they have been
accepted by the regional Opioid Abatement Council.
viii. Any City of Ellensburg funds from a designated funding cycle that remain
unspent (community awards or OAC hold) will be retained by Kittitas County for
the sole purpose of being applied to the subsequent funding cycle. Once each party has set an amount of available Opioid Funds, the City of
Ellensburg will select two staff to participate in the Opioid Settlement review
group to score and recommend projects and activities for approval by the
legislative authorities for each Party. Staff may not represent departments or
divisions applying for funding.
iii. At the time in which funding awards have been approved by the respective
legislative authorities, the City of Ellensburg agrees to promptly provide the
County with the full designated amount of funds for that funding cycle.
iv.
