Q <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - � <br /> ADOPTING AN ANNUAL ROAD PROGRAM FOR 2026 <br /> WHEREAS: In accordance with R.C.W. 36.81.130,the County Engineer has prepared an <br /> Annual Road Program for 2026; and <br /> WHEREAS: The Annual Road Program consists of three components, an Annual Construction <br /> Program and cost thereof, an Annual Maintenance Plan and cost thereof, and a <br /> Road Equipment Purchases and Major Repairs Plan and cost thereof, and <br /> WHEREAS: The Annual Construction Program contents conform as nearly as practicable to <br /> the County's long range road program contained in the 2026-2031 Six Year <br /> Transportation Improvement Program; and <br /> WHEREAS: Any appropriations contained in the County Road Budget shall be void unless the <br /> County's Annual Road Program is adopted prior to such appropriation; and <br /> WHEREAS: The Annual Road Program shall not hereafter be changed except by unanimous <br /> vote of the Board Members present and,the modifications shall be by Resolution <br /> or Ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS: The Annual Construction Program is attached hereto as Exhibit A,the <br /> Maintenance Plan is attached hereto as Exhibit B, and the Equipment Purchase <br /> and Major Repair Plan is hereto attached as Exhibit C; and <br /> WHEREAS: Public Works solicited public comment for the Six Year Transportation <br /> Improvement Program and Annual Construction Plan via press release from <br /> August 18 through September 5,2025,with information also posted on the Public <br /> Works website as well as social media post from the BOCC office; and <br /> WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners has considered the Annual Road Program <br /> and shall adopt an Annual Road Program any time prior to the adoption of the <br /> County Road Budget; and <br /> WHEREAS: A Public Hearing was held on October 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the <br /> Commissioners' Auditorium concerning the Six Year Transportation Program for <br /> 2026-2031 and the Annual Road Program for 2026; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br /> consideration, does hereby adopt the said Annual Road Program for 2026,hereto <br /> attached. <br />
