KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> Board of County Commissioners <br /> AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> AGENDA DATE: October 15, 2025 <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: Request Board of County Commissioners Approval on the Resolution <br /> to award the bid for the Rodeo Arena Seating Improvement Project. <br /> BACKGROUND: For over 10 years the County has been working with the Rodeo Board <br /> looking at ways to make necessary improvements to the Rodeo arena <br /> grandstands. With a joint partnership and the use of Lodging tax <br /> funding has been secured to move forward with the replacement of <br /> the west grandstands. This project will provide ADA seating, new <br /> restrooms and other safety improvements. <br /> On September 30, 2025, eight bids were received. After reviewing the <br /> bids, Architect has determined that Cascade Central Construction Inc., <br /> was the lowest responsive bidder. <br /> INTERACTION: Prosecutors office and ALSC Architects. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Request Boards Approval and signature on the resolution to award the <br /> bid to Cascade Central Construction Inc. <br /> HANDLING: Original—Clerk of the Board <br /> ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, and ALCA Architects letter. <br /> LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Facilities and Waste Operations Director <br />
