Franchisee shall make provisions satisfactory to State for continued access by State along, over, and across the use area during periods in which Franchisee is conducting construction or other activities. Archaeoloev and Cultural Resourges. In the event cultural resources or human remains are found or unearthed during the work allowed by this Franchise, Franchisee must comply with provisions of Chapte r 27 ,44 RCW, Chapter 27 .53 RCW, and the rules and regulations of the Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, including compliance with all archaeological excavation permit requirements. If cultural resources are discovered, Franchisee must immediately cease work, secure the area" and contact the State Parks' Archaeology Team at arclraeologv(Dnarks.wa.sov and follow the protocol in Exhibit C - Inadvertent Discovery Plan (IDP). Tree Removal. No trees are to be cut or removed from State's property without prior approval of State according to the policies of the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission or as described in Franchisee's plans. Franchisee's Use and Activities. Franchisee shall exercise its rights under this permit so as to minimize, and avoid if reasonably possible, interference with State's use of the use area and sunounding park property for park purposes. Franchisee shall at all times conduct its activities on the use area so as not to interfere with, obstruct, or endanger State's operations or facilities. t0.lnsuranCe. During the course ofany of Franchisee's construction activities or other substantial activities on the use area and prior to commencement thereof, Franehisee shall submit to State certificates of insurance in a form approved by State evidencing that Franchisee or Franchisee's contractors have comprehensive general liability coverage (including broad form contractual liability coverage) satisfactory to State with limits no less than the following: 7 8.
