He has successfully led projects <br />through all phases, from pre-design assessments and programming <br />to construction administration. With experience spanning facilities <br />from 1,500 to 665,000 square feet, Russell is a trusted advisor <br />renowned for helping clients optimize their forensic environments to <br />meet specific operational needs. <br /> Areas of Expertise: <br />Forensic Science Laboratories: <br />In-depth expertise in designing diverse analytical laboratories, <br />including: DNA, drug chemistry, toxicology/breath/blood, latent print, <br />firearms, digital/computer, trace evidence, evidence control, police <br />identification, and shared lab support systems. <br /> Forensic Pathology Facilities <br />Designed the first autopsy suite in the U.S. to pursue BSL3 <br />certification with the CDC/NIH. Led the development of Canada’s <br />first CL3 autopsy suite, setting benchmarks in high-containment <br />forensic pathology design.
