MWA ARCHITECTS | 9
MWA is currently providing tenant improvements for multiple
therapy, clinic, and office spaces at the recently purchased
OHSU Crossings Campus . These facilities are designed to meet
the needs of vulnerable communities . Two clinics and several
infrastructure modernization projects are complete at this time .
MWA is working with diverse stakeholder groups to meet
OHSU’s institutional goals and interior design standards from
space needs and design development through bid, permitting,
and construction administration . Our design approach is
anchored in a collaborative process of engagement where all
voices are heard and valued . Our design team is leading interac-
tive workshops to vet design progress, actively evaluate cost
impact to design solutions from all disciplines, and drive deci-
sion-making to maintain forward progress .
MWA is working closely with OHSU’s IT group and electrical
consultants on low voltage systems such as security and
communications with attention to acoustical privacy to meet
the needs of these specialized user groups .
Featured image from Property Manager Colliers website,
colliers .com
key features
»MWA coordinated the needs of multiple stakeholders
»Architectural programming, space planning, and workflow assessment for medical facilities
»Design of medical clinic space
project information
Project Team: MWA Architects, Landis Consulting
Project Type: Clinic, offices, therapy spaces
Size: 192,047 SF
Sustainable Elements: Design for daylighting; employee
wellness room programming and design; space planning for
building reuse .
Client: Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU)
OHSU Crossings Campus Tenant Improvements
portland, or
