Citizen Comments – None <br />4. 2026 Preliminary Budget Discussion with Upper Kittitas County Senior Center: <br />Zack DeHaven presents the 2026 request for the Upper Kittitas County Senior Center is <br />requesting $50K which is up by $10k from last year. Lori Nevins explains to the BOCC that the <br />City of Cle Elum is not able to contribute this year. Commissioners APPROVE the budget for <br />2026 as presented. <br />3. 2026 Preliminary Budget Meeting with Sheriff: <br />Zack DeHaven discusses and explains the 3/10th funds will be used to cover the project shortfall <br />allowing the completion of Phase 1 of the EOC/SAR project, including the purchase and <br />installation of a generator. <br />Fire Marshal- No Personnel Change Request and No Capital Expenditure Requests- Tentative <br />Approval <br />Emergency Management- No Personnel Change Request and No Capital Expenditure <br />Requests- Tentative Approval <br />Sheriff -No Personnel Change Request and 4 Capital Expenditure Requests- Tentative <br />Approval <br />Capital Request: <br />Generator- Need more details to make a decision <br />EOC/SAR- Fully funded <br />
