BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUTToN No. zozs - 3.0(f, <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF JACOBS ENGINEERING GROT]P,INC. AND <br />GEOENGTNBERS, TNC. AS PUBLIC WORrG ON-CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR <br />UP TO A THREE-YEAR PERIOD OF SERVICE AND AUTHORIZET}JE PIIBLIC WORIG <br />DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN SAID PROF'ESSIONAL SER\TICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications for <br />engineering and professional services consistent with state law and county code in July of <br />2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works docketed a request to solicit for engineering and <br />professional services on the Board of County Commission general business agenda on <br />July 1't, 2025; and <br />WIIEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners directed Kittitas County Public Works proceed <br />with solicitation efforts and said process concluded with submittals being received on <br />July 31, 2025; ard <br />WHEREAS:Consistent with solicitation advertising an internal review team of Kittitas County Pubhc <br />Works staff reviewed and scored all environmental permitting services and related <br />professional engineering services submittals; and <br />WHEREAS:The consensus of the reviewers selects Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. and <br />GeoEngineers, Inc. for professional environmental permitting services agreement for up <br />to a three-year period (two-year base with possible third year extension if mutually <br />agreed upon); <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby select Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. and GeoEngineers, Inc. for professional <br />environmental permitting services and authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and sign said <br />professional services agreement. <br />DATED this 21st day of October 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />Clerk,of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />M)IJ <br />Commissioner
