BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COI.INTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RES'LUTT.N No. zozs - A(L1 <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF COMMONSTREET CONSULTING, LLC AS <br />PUBLIC WORKS ON-CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR UP TO A THREE- <br />YEAR PERIOD OF SERVICE AND AUTHORIZE."TIJE' PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO <br />NEGOTIATE AND SIGN SAID PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WIIEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications <br />for engineering and professional services consistent with state law and county code in <br />July of2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works docketed a request to solicit for engineering and <br />professional services on the Board of County Commission general business agenda <br />on July I't,2025; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners directed Kittitas County Public Works proceed <br />with solicitation efforts and said process concluded with submittals being received on <br />July 31, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising an internal review team of Kittitas County <br />Public Works staff reviewed and scored all right of way services and related <br />professional engineering services submittals; and <br />WHEREAS The consensus of the reviewers selects Commonstreet Consulting, LLC for <br />professional right of way services agreement for up to a three-year period (two-year <br />base with possible third year extension if mutually agreed upon); <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby select Commonstreet Consulting, LLC for professional right of <br />way services and authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and sign said professional <br />services agreement. <br />this 2lst day of October 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />Fclerkof the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />C.ott <br />-stl\L <br />7 <br />Brett W <br />Vice-Chairman
