BOARD OF COI.N.{TY COMMISSIONERS <br />COI.INTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTTON No. 2o2s - A0 h <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF GEOENGINEERS,INC. AS PUBLIC WORKS ON- <br />CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR UP TO A THREE-YEAR PERIOD OF <br />SERVICE AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND <br />SIGN SAID PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications <br />for engineering and professional services consistent with state law and county code in <br />July of2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works docketed a request to solicit for engineering and <br />professional services on the Board of County Commission general business agenda <br />on July 1"t,2025; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners directed Kittitas County Public Works proceed <br />with solicitation efforts and said process concluded with submittals being received on <br />July 31, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising an intemal review team of Kittitas County <br />Public Works staff reviewed and scored all geotechnical engineering and testing <br />services and related professional engineering services submittals; and <br />WHEREAS: The consensus of the reviewers selects GeoEngineers, Inc. for professional <br />geotechnical engineering and testing services agreement for up to a three-year period <br />(two-year base with possible third year extension if mutually agreed upon); <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby select GeoEngineers, Inc. for professional geotechnical <br />engineering and testing services and authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and sign said <br />professional services agreement. <br />DATED this 2lst day of October 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />right, Vice-Chairman <br />.SL\L <br />Cor <br />J <br />1r <br />t-"; <br />'()\,Vtt7I <br />Attest: <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Commissioner <br />t
