BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COTINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 aap <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF NATTIRAL WATERS AND WATERSHED SCIENCE <br />AND ENGINEERING AS PUBLIC WORKS ON-CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR <br />UP TO A THREE-YEAR PERIOD OF SERVICE AND AUTHORIZE.TIJE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN SAID PROFESSIONAL SER\TCES AGREEMENT <br />WIIEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications for <br />engineering and professional services consistent with state law and county code in July of <br />2025; and <br />WIIEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works docketed a request to solicit for engineering and <br />professional services on the Board of County Commission general business agenda on <br />July 1't, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners directed Kittitas County Public Works proceed <br />with solicitation efforts and said process concluded with submittals being received on <br />July 31, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS:Consistent with solicitation advertising an internal review team of Kittitas County Public <br />Works staff reviewed and scored all hydrology and hydraulic modeling and related <br />professional engineering services submittals; and <br />WHEREAS:The consensus of the reviewers selects Natural Waters and Watershed Science and <br />Engineering for professional hydrology and hydraulic modeling services agreement for <br />up to a three-year period (two-year base with possible third year extension if mutually <br />agreed upon); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby select Natural Waters and Watershed Science and Engineering for professional <br />hydrology and hydraulic modeling services and authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and <br />sign said professional services agreement. <br />DATED this 21st day of October2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Julie Kjorsvik <br />Co;t <br />?n <br />7. <br />1 <br />t_1 V <br />Clerk <br />Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />V <br />Commissioner
