We currently have 868 <br /> registered cardholders. 585 are City of Kittitas residents and 283 are County. Our services remain free to all patrons. <br /> We have 17,988 items available for checkout. On top of that,thanks to the Washington Anytime Library subscription, <br /> we have thousands of electronic books,audio books,and now magazines available to our patrons online for computers, <br /> smart phones and Kindle Readers. <br /> We continue to have a lot of children's books checked out each year. Through August 2025,65%of children's books are <br /> checked out by County patrons, up from 61%in 2024.Our Summer Reading Program participants were 100%County <br /> residents this year. Total attendance for children was 45. <br /> Our 2024 Trunk or Treat saw 382 children come through for candy and the Haunted House. Christmas in Kittitas had 123 <br /> children come to see Santa and play games put on by the library. They also got to pick out a book from Friends of the <br /> Library.
