HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, KITTITAS COUNTY <br />205 W 51h Ave., Suite 107, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />509-962-7082 1 hr@co.kittitas.wa.us <br />https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/ <br />LETTER OF AGREEMENT (LOA) <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND LOCAL 760 (NON -UNIFORMED JAIL) <br />IN THE MATTER OF CLARIFYING RETIREE WELFARE TRUST (RWT) PARTICIPATION LANGUAGE <br />This LOA is entered into between Kitbtas County and Local 760 (Non -Uniformed Jail), for the purpose of clarifying <br />the following: <br />Article 25.3 of the Local 760 (Non -Uniformed Jail) Collective Bargaining Agreement states that, "Effective January <br />1, 2025 the Employer shall pay 100% of the premium amount for Teamsters Retiree Welfare Trust (RWT) Plus XL <br />plan per bargaining unit member per month." This language does not address RWT's requirement that an <br />employee must work 80 hours in the previous month to qualify for the RWT Plus XL monthly contribution. <br />The new language outlined below is intended to clarify the requirements of the RWT Plus XL plan. <br />25.3 Retiree Welfare Trust (RWT) Participation: Effective January 1, 2025 the Employer shall contribute <br />100% of the monthly premium amount for the Teamsters Retiree Welfare Trust (RWT) Plus XL medical <br />plan to each bargaining unit member who has been compensated for eighty (80) hours or more in the <br />previous month. <br />The Union was kept informed and actively participated in the changes indicated herein. This LOA will amend the <br />collective bargaining agreement only as indicated above; the remainder of the CBA will remain unaltered. <br />
