BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 <br />ADOPTING A SIX -YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE <br />YEARS 2026-2031 <br />WHEREAS: In accordance with R.C.W. 36.81.121, the County Engineer has prepared the <br />2026-2031 Six -Year Transportation Improvement Plan for the ensuing six -year <br />period; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners has access to Public Works priority scoring <br />array and 2024 Bridge Inspection Report and said documents were utilized by <br />staff preparing this Six -Year Transportation Improvement Plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited public comment via press release along with website <br />access to the plan draft and comment form from August 18 through September 5, <br />2025; and <br />WHEREAS: A Public Hearing was opened on October 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the <br />Commissioners' Auditorium concerning adoption of the said Transportation <br />Improvement Plan; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby adopt the said 2026-2031 Six -Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan, hereto attached, as now submitted by the Kittitas County <br />Director of Public Works. <br />ADOPTED this 21 st day of October 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
