BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF FEHR AND PEERS AS PUBLIC WORKS ON - <br />CALL TASK ORDER CONSULTANTS FOR UP TO A THREE-YEAR PERIOD OF <br />SERVICE AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND <br />SIGN SAID PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications <br />for engineering and professional services consistent with state law and county code in <br />July of 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works docketed a request to solicit for engineering and <br />professional services on the Board of County Commission general business agenda <br />on July 1 s`, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners directed Kittitas County Public Works proceed <br />with solicitation efforts and said process concluded with submittals being received on <br />July 31, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Consistent with solicitation advertising an internal review team of Kittitas County <br />Public Works staff reviewed and scored all transportation modeling and planning and <br />related professional engineering services submittals; and <br />WHEREAS: The consensus of the reviewers selects Fehr and Peers for professional transportation <br />modeling and planning services agreement for up to a three-year period (two-year <br />base with possible third year extension if mutually agreed upon); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby select Fehr and Peers for professional transportation modeling and <br />planning services and authorizes the Public Works Director to negotiate and sign said professional <br />services agreement. <br />DATED this 21st day of October 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
