(2) of the projects receiving full funding and one (1)project receiving partial funding.
Once awards are confirmed, enabling documents will be prepared for Board of County
Commissioner consideration at a future agenda session.
DISCUSSION:
At the August 20t' COG meeting, members of COG met to discuss the submitted
applications and scoring criteria. A motion to approve funding the top three (3) scoring
applications submitted was approved. The application for Fire and EMS Standard of
Cover Assessment Analysis project submitted by Kittitas County Community
Development Services is an approved project in the COG work program and was
removed from this process, as it is already funded. Recommended applications for award
included a project submitted by Kittitas County Department of Public Works, and two (2)
applications by the City of Cle Elum. These projects met all eligibility criteria and are
now being brought forward to the Board of County Commissioners for recommendation.
This is past practice for grant application solicitations for public facility funds and
enabling documentation would be drafted for Board approval at a future agenda session.
FISCAL IMPACTS:
Funding in the amount of$360,000.00 has been accounted for in Fund 108 - Public
Facilities Fund managed by Public Works.
ATTACHMENTS:
Exhibit 1: Kittitas County Conference of Governments Letter of Recommendation.
Public Works"Work Session Staff Report",2025
