through September 5t'. Public Works received two comment forms from the public's
feedback. The feedback was reviewed, and the draft Plan is proposed to remain as
previously presented. Public Works intends to bring the Final Plan to the BoCC for
adoption on or before October 21.
DISCUSSION:
Public Works has updated the 6-Year transportation Plan to better represent the County's
ability to fund projects. In years past, projects which may receive grant funding have
been included on the Plan. In an effort to show a more realistic 6-Year Plan, Public
Works has created an update to the 6-Year Plan by removing projects which currently do
not have secured grant funding from the scheduled work and instead includes a Capital
Improvements List to identify road improvement needs which would be completed if
funding becomes available.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The 6-Year Transportation Plan will help set the Public Works budget for 2026.
ATTACHMENTS:
Exhibit 1: Draft 6-Year Transportation Improvement Plan for 2026-2031
