BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDED CONTRACT WITH <br />COMMUNITY BUILDERS FOR 1/10TH OF 1% MENTAL HEALTH AND <br />CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY FUNDING <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025- <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) established a mental <br />health tax via Kittitas County Ordinance No. 2021-017; and <br />WHEREAS, the proceeds generated from the Mental Health Tax imposed pursuant to <br />RCW 82.14.460, are to be used to fund programs related to chemical <br />dependency, mental health treatment, or therapeutic courts; and <br />WHEREAS, the BOCC awarded funds via resolution 2025-030, 2025-031 to fund the <br />Community Builders submitted request for proposals (RFP); and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County has found it necessary to clarify allowable expenses and <br />reimbursement procedures found in Exhibit B Compensation to ensure <br />contractual compliance and legal use of funds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Board of County Commissioners, <br />hereby adopts amendment no. 2 Community Builders. <br />ADOPTED this day of 2025. <br />ATTEST: <br />❑ Julie A.
