Page 16 of 16 <br />Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail <br />Franchise # F488501KVE1 <br />EXHIBIT D <br />ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />Native Seed Mix <br />Before any seeding occurs, Franchisee shall submit the proposed native seed mix to State <br />for review. No seed shall be applied until written approval is received from the Trails <br />Program Manager. For approval of the proposed mix, contact Paul Knowles, Trails <br />Program Manager at 509-850-7904 or paul.knowles@parks.wa.gov. <br /> <br />Public Access <br />The use area, described and shown in Exhibits A and B, shall remain open to the public. <br />Franchisee shall not gate, fence, sign, or restrict entry without prior written consent from <br />State. Exceptions to this are as stated below: <br />1. A one (1) month closure for the initial clean-up. <br />2. Closures for routine maintenance not to exceed two (2) weeks per <br />calendar year. <br /> <br />Vehicle and Recreation Vehicle Use <br />Other than county vehicles and equipment for maintenance, no motorized vehicles may <br />be driven or parked on State Parks’ property as a part of this Franchise. RVs located on <br />the Kittitas County’s adjoining property may project over State Parks property, given that <br />they do not extend over more than eight (8) feet. Upon request, Franchisee will install <br />additional signage or curb infrastructure to prevent unauthorized use of State Parks’ land. <br /> <br />
