BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINANCE CONTRACTING <br />OF THE GRANDSTAND PROJECT <br />NO.2025- 1-11 <br />WHEREAS, The residents of Kittitas County benefit will benefit from the investment in the rodeo <br />arena project which will enhance tourism, generate increased visitation, and expand <br />event -hosting capabilities for the community accordance with She adopted Kittitas County <br />Tourism Strategic Plan, et. seq., and amendments, changes, and alterations thereto; and <br />WHEREAS, the Treasurer is authorized pursuant to RC W 43.08 and 39.94 to facilitate the necessary <br />financial contracts plus any loans, grants, or other financial tools; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to take care of <br />county property and the management of county funds and business; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington. in the best interests of the public, does hereby authorize the Treasurer and her office to <br />obtain the contracting and secure the necessary financing for the Grandstand Project. <br />DATED this .�--2— day of September 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />)..gkT5DIrITY.
