These submittals <br />included a proposed project schedule. <br />Once the City completes its review and grants approval (anticipated <br />toward the end of this month) we will make any necessary <br />revisions. After that, we'll coordinate with both the City and the <br />County to clarify which tasks will be handled by City crews and <br />which will be completed by our contractor. <br />If the permit is approved by mid -October as expected, we will <br />advertise the project through the Small Works Roster, with bidding <br />scheduled to open at the end of October. We plan to award the <br />contract the following week and begin construction early to mid - <br />November. <br />Please note that this schedule remains tentative and is dependent on <br />timely approval from the City. <br />I am in process of finalizing my grant application for more funding <br />for this project through the WSDA Capital Improvements Grant, <br />which may award up to $250,000. <br />INTERACTION: Kittitas Valley Event Center <br />Kittitas County Facilities Director <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />ACTION REQUESTED: None <br />ATTACHMENT(S): None <br />LEAD STAFF: Kady Porterfield, Kittitas Valley Event Center Director <br />
