About 60 people showed up at the <br />meeting representing general contracting firms from Ellensburg, <br />Wenatchee, Tri-Cities, and Seattle. The meeting was led by <br />construction manager Patti Stacey and Todd Keller with ALSC <br />Architects. Members of the Ellensburg Rodeo Board also showed <br />up in support. It was exclaimed several times that the substantial <br />completion date for this project is June 30, 2026 with notice to <br />proceed no later than October 14, 2025. There will be no weather <br />stoppage allowances and contractors were told to bid accordingly. <br />Later that afternoon, Bryan Elliott, Interim Project Manager led our <br />project kickoff meeting that included all involved parties that the <br />project relies on. CDS has been reviewing the plans and will have <br />comments back to Patti and ALSC sometime today (Monday, <br />September 22, 2025). CDS plans to do phased construction <br />permitting to hold up the project.
