09/16/2025 MINUTES 2 <br />Code and the County Road Log, and recommended approval of a proposed <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2025-009 AMEND SPEED LIMITS PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve Ordinance No. 2025-009, <br />Amending Section 10.08 Speed Limits of the Kittitas County Code. <br />COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING SPEED INCREASE BULLFROG ROAD PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:06 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />the Speed Increase on Bullfrog Road and to Amend Kittitas County <br />Code Chapter 10.08.020 Speed Limits. <br /> <br />JOSH FREDRICKSON, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report. He <br />said they responded to an inquiry to conduct a speed study on <br />Bullfrog Road from I-90 to Tumble Creek (MP 0.00 to MP 0.72) and <br />reviewed their findings. He recommended approval of a proposed <br />Ordinance which would increase the speed limit on Bullfrog Road. <br /> <br />THOSE PRESENT & TESTIFYING: PAT KELLEHER felt the record was <br />incomplete and the history of the speed limit going down should have <br />been provided in the record since it had been brought up and <br />discussed. THERE BEING NO OTHERS REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC <br />PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2025-010 SPEED INCREASE BULLFROG ROAD PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve Ordinance No. 2025-010, <br />Establishment of a Speed Zone and the Placement of Speed Limit Signs <br />on Bullfrog Road and Amending Section 10.08.020 Speed Limits of the <br />Kittitas County Code. COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH.
