j. Kittitas County Auditor's Office (Bryan Elliott): Shared that a small number <br /> of ballots come in that are signed by a spouse with a misunderstanding that <br /> one cannot sign a ballot for a spouse even if they have power of attorney. <br /> While the response is primarily voter education, Bryan advised that for law <br /> enforcement there can be serious impacts and to remind officers that it is <br /> not lawful to sign a spouse's or child's ballot. <br /> k. Kittitas County Clerk's Office (Dennis Robinson): No report <br /> I. Kittitas County District Court (Emily Brown): Shared they have an <br /> upcoming graduation in Behavioral Health Court September 4th at 5:OOPM <br /> in the BoCC Auditorium. She shared this is their 7th or 8th graduation. <br /> m. Kittitas County Juvenile Court Services (Katrina Mankus): No report <br /> n. Kittitas County Misdemeanant Probation (Pat Gigstead): Reported they <br /> will be moving into the courthouse, no date provided. <br /> o. Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office (Greg Zempel): Shared continued effort <br /> on identifying ways to reduce juvenile involvement in the justice system. <br /> He reported ongoing efforts to collaborate with law enforcement and <br /> judicial partners on technology and sharing information as well as storing <br /> information and responding to public disclosure requests. They are <br /> currently looking at best practices for Al. <br /> p. Kittitas County Risk Manager(Angela Bugni): No report <br /> q. Kittitas County Sheriff's Office (Ben Kokjer): No report <br /> r. Kittitas Police Department (David Hinchcliff): Reported they currently <br /> have one FTO and are working to fill another position. Their flock system <br /> recently began, and they also had a successful National Night Out. <br /> s. Washington State Patrol (Michael Christensen): Shared they continue to <br /> be short staffed and there appear to be no plans to increase staffing. They <br /> will be switching to Tracks for new ticketing system, and this will include <br /> electronic processing for tickets. Additionally, WSP recently changed to <br /> Axon for their records retention. <br />
