Public Health <br />To Protect and Promote the Health and the Environment of the People of Kittitas County <br />Department Structure <br />KCPHD operates as a special revenue non -major fund within Kittitas County. The department provides abroad <br />array of services and programs. Services include those which are mandated by statute, Foundational Public <br />Health Services (FPHS) that may also be mandated by statute, and Additional Important Services (AIS), which are <br />neither mandated nor foundational but still identified as essential to meet the needs of the community. More <br />information about services and activities can be found in the 2026 Kittitas County Public Health Department Core <br />Services Report. <br />Department Organization <br />KCPHD consists of six divisions: Administration, Environmental Health, Health Promotion, Communicable <br />Disease, Public Health Infrastructure, and Human Services.
