BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2025 - <br />AMENDING SECTION 10.08 SPEED LIMITS OF THE KITTITAS COUNTY CODE <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works recently conducted an audit of Kittitas County <br />Code Chapter 10.08 and inconsistencies were identified between the County Road <br />Log and said Chapter of Kittitas County Code; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners did hold a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm to hear public testimony regarding the <br />amendment of Section 10.08 Speed Limits of the Kittitas County Code; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners have determined that <br />amendments are required to Section 10.08 Speed Limits of the Kittitas County <br />Code to update inconsistencies found between the County Road Log and said <br />Chapter of Kittitas County Code; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED that the Kittitas County Board of County <br />Commissioners, after due deliberation and in the best interest of the public, does <br />hereby amend Section 10.08 Speed Limits of the Kittitas County Code as <br />indicated in Exhibit A. <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance will become effective upon the installation <br />of appropriate signage. <br />ADOPTED the 16'h day of September 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />O Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
