NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Kittitas County board of commissroners <br />in the Commissioner's Auditorium, 205 West 5th Ave, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse on September 16, <br />2025, at2pm. <br />The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of <br />the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and <br />receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in the Kittitas County <br />area. Comments on Kittitas County and HopeSource past performance and use of the prior CDBG Public <br />Services Grants will also be received. <br />For the 2025 progrd.m year (July 2025 - June 2026), up to 581,000.00 is proposed to be available to Kittitas <br />County and HopeSource to fund public services that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons. For <br />the 2022-2024 programyears, Kittitas County and HopeSource received $244,000.00. <br />An outline of the proposed activities and services for the 2025 programyear will be available for review on the <br />Kittitas County Website Board of Kittitas County Commissioners Agenda & Minutes page. Comments may also <br />be submitted in writing to Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners by Monday, September 15,2025, at <br />2:00pm. <br />The Commissioner's Auditorium is handicap accessible.
