EXHIH|T "A" <br />SGOPE OF V\IORK <br />CompaseDircct Healthcare intends to provide 2417//365 accass to medically trained <br />personnelto provide prompt acce&s ts treatment behavloral and mental health services. <br />Medical staffwill be in tre facility 6 days a week pmving addition psychotroplc <br />prescribor time as well as 60 hours a week Cllnlcal Staff Coverage to what KCJ alroady <br />has in place. ln the event of the Clinicsl Staff belng on leave, both planned and <br />emergent, CompassDlrect Healthcare wlll be rcsponsible for coverlng the hours with a <br />replaoernent staff memberduring that same time. <br />Jall etaff and ofter medical provlders will always have access to GompassDlrec-t <br />Healftcare prcscribers via telephone, CompassDirect Healthcare staff will screen and <br />triage tresh lntakes/bookings and allother incarcerated people frrtheir needs as related <br />to behavloral/mental health car€ aswell as monitor medications forfollow-up, <br />educaton, and rcordering as necessary to eneur€ the patient doesnt run out. <br />Goals and Obiectives <br />1. To extend weekday aCIc,€ss to behavloraland mental health seMces <br />2. Provide a Clinical Staff Memberto work in the tfttihs County Jail for , 40 hours a <br />week on an agreed upon schedule between Klftitas Coung Jailand <br />CompassDirec't <br />3. Provide Cllnfcal Staff Members to work in the Kittitas Gounty Jail hr an <br />additlonal 20 hours a week on an agreed upon schedule betwoen Kittitas County <br />Jalland CompassDirect <br />4, To provide 2417 on call seruices for emergency situations related to <br />behaviorallmgntal health medications <br />5. To ensure contlnuity of care amorrgst prcviders of care, collaborate with intemal <br />and externalstakeholders, including the existing mentalhealth nurse practitioner <br />and therapist, via phone and in person as needed <br />Prcposed Program <br />To accomptish the abovedescribed objectives, CompassDirect Healthcare lntends to <br />extend helr current slck call hours as needed to promptly address access to behavioral <br />and mental health issuee, lf the abilityto not address all necessary patlents during <br />rcgularly scheduled sick call hours, GompassDirect Healthcare wlllworlrwith KCJ staffto <br />determine tlrne laterto rotum to the faolllty and address any additional cllents as <br />needed. <br />The CHnical $taff will ovsrsee triaging all rnental health related patients and determlne <br />which mental health practitionerthey need to be seen by.
