Kittitas County 1/10th of 1% Mental Health and Chemical <br /> Dependency Tax Advisory Board Meeting Minutes <br /> Kittitas County, Washington <br /> Commissioners' Auditorium <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> THURSDAY 1:00 PM JULY 31ST, 2025 <br /> Board Members Present: <br /> Pamela Tuggle-Miles, Michael Karraker, Catherine "Cay" Crowley, Dr. Mark Larson, Brett Wachsmith <br /> (Chair) <br /> Excused: Debbie Callins, Doug Fessler, <br /> Others: Emma Madland (Clerk), Kasey Knutson, Mackenzie Carter <br /> 1. Meeting called to order at 1:01 PM <br /> 2. Citizen Comments: No formal citizen comments were made. <br /> The board started the meeting with a discussion on awareness of the work being done in schools <br /> and how to mend the disconnect between organizations on what is being funded. This led into <br /> further discussion of school funding, the role of the advisory board, and how funding efficiency <br /> is being reviewed. <br /> 3. Approval of Minutes: <br /> MOTION TO APPROVE MINUTES FROM JUNE 2025: Michael Karraker moved to approve the June <br /> 2025 minutes. Cay Crowley second.All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 4. Other Business <br /> Evaluation Workbook Overview: <br /> Mackenzie Carter,Assessment Coordinator at Kittitas County Public Health Department, gave the <br /> group some insight into the creation of the evaluation workbook.The goals included <br /> standardizing the process, reducing barriers for smaller organizations, and providing a way to <br /> measure data between various projects. Cay Crowley voices her concern regarding the emphasis <br /> of stigma reduction.After discussion,the group came to an agreement that they would prefer <br /> the objectives were in a different order next time. <br /> 1 <br />
