Cle Elum Roslyn <br /> School District owns three parcels (424235, 563034, and 543034) that are outside of the <br /> City Urban Growth Area and are within the Rural 5 zone. Under current regulations, the <br /> school use is considered non-conforming and cannot expand to accommodate growth. <br /> The proposed development code change would allow the school district to utilize the land <br /> to expand school services and accommodate school district needs. <br /> Item 25-01 simply changes a permission in the Rural Non-LAMIRD allowed use table to <br /> permit schools within the Rural 5 zone. The permission also utilizes an existing footnote <br /> (#25)to require a conditional use permit for new schools and no conditional use <br /> requirement for existing schools.
